Crowns

Crowns are synthetic caps, usually made of enamel like material, placed on the top of a tooth. Crowns are typically used to restore a tooth's function and appearance. Dr. Zeleznick uses state of the art metal free ceramic materials, which are both beautiful and strong. When decay in a tooth has become so advanced that large portions of the tooth must be removed, crowns are often used to restore the tooth.

Bridges

Bridges are commonly used to replace one or more missing teeth. They span the space where the teeth are missing. Bridges are cemented to the natural teeth or implants surrounding the empty space. These teeth, called abutments, serve as anchors for the bridge. A replacement tooth, called a pontic, is attached to the crowns that cover the abutments.

Your initial oral examination is very thorough and comprehensive. We will address all of your concerns. Dr. Zeleznick will do a visual examination, check all of your teeth, fillings crowns, and other restorations, periodontal (gum) examination, TMJ (Jaw) and bite examination, oral cancer screening, Dr. Zeleznick will also include a diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We always put your needs and expectations as the priority.

Implants

Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root. Implants are anchored to the jawbone and act as a foundation for an artificial tooth or permanent bridge. In some cases, implants can be used to attach dentures.

Bonding

Bonding is a process in which an enamel-like material is applied to a tooth`s surface, sculpted to an ideal shape, hardened, and then polished for an ideal smile. This procedure usually can be accomplished in a single visit.
